Commissioned by Trinity Church, New York City (1971). Trinity Church assigned, as reference, the biblical passage "there will be signs in the sun, and signs in the moon, and signs in the stars" — thus an Advent piece. The signs which this piece uses, however, are references to modern life: direction signs, "no trespassing" signs, numerical rocket count-downs, clock faces. In a reference to Teilhard de Chardin's concept of the "Omega Point", the work "counts down" to the final stage, where all three projectors show the same Omega symbol (sign).

Performed by Cornish College students conducted by Tristan Gianola.
